Student abstract submission for ASEE 2015 Annual Conference

Please consider submitting an abstract to the upcoming ASEE 2015 Annual Conference in Seattle, WA. Abstracts will be accepted through October 19, 2014. The Call for Papers for the Engineering Management, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, and Student Divisions can be found here: ASEE Call for Papers. Sunday Workshops and Distinguished Lecture Applications may also be submitted between September 2 and November 2, 2014 and proposals should be directed to the program chair of the corresponding division. The 2015 Annual Conference Author’s Kit contains important information regarding the submission process as well as all relevant deadlines is available from the ASEE website.

New scholarship program

Through the Make it in Washington initiative, Washington State University’s Engineering and Technology Management program will be offering scholarships for eligible employees working in small and midsized manufacturing firms in qualifying Washington state counties. Scholarships for graduate and advanced undergraduate certificates in the ETM program are currently being offered. For more information on the program, please see the MiiW-ETM website.
