Summary of Duties

The incumbent provides financial, administrative and general office support to the Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) Department with professional level assignments and coordinates work with that of other areas; Applies principles of financial management to perform such functions as record keeping, auditing, analysis, budgeting, travel, purchasing and other types of fiscal operations. Provides administrative support; establishes and maintains schedules and priorities; prepares correspondence, reports, travel itineraries, etc. Reviews and researches operating procedures and problems and develops solutions and/or recommendations.

This position is responsible for receiving purchase requests, making purchases, notifying customers of order status, logging transactions as they occur and reconciling purchasing documents. Additional responsibilities include making travel arrangements, communicating with travelers, and logging transactions that occur. Maintaining and revising complex electronic data base files and records. In performing tasks, must apply knowledge of office goals and work commitments to ensure compliance with university regulations and requirements.
