ETM launches digital badges for students and alumni this #GivingTuesday

PULLMAN, Wash.—In celebration of #GivingTuesday, Washington State University’s (WSU) Engineering and Technology Management (ETM) program is launching a new initiative to offer digital badges to both current students and alumni. These badges, awarded upon completion of all required certification courses, will allow students to showcase their accomplishments and demonstrate the skills they have acquired as they advance in their careers.
Current students will be awarded a digital badge upon completing all required certificate courses. Alumni of the program are also eligible to receive digital badges for any applied for and completed certificates. Alumni can request their badges by filling out a form, which will be issued to them upon verification.
“Digital badges are a powerful tool for students and alumni to display their achievements and skills in a tangible, sharable way,” said Luna Magpili, director of the ETM program. “This initiative will help enhance career opportunities for both current students and graduates, while also fostering a continued connection to the WSU ETM community.”
The launch of these digital badges is part of the program’s ongoing effort to provide students and alumni with innovative tools for career advancement. Donations made this #GivingTuesday will support continued efforts to offer advanced resources like digital badges to future generations of engineering and technology leaders.
