Professional Background

Goksel Kucukkaya, PhD, most recently has been providing consultation for the fin-tech industry in software design, development and quality assurance. Prior to his role in the fin-tech industry, Dr. Kucukkaya, performed systems design, development, validation & verification and project management of C4ISR systems for NATO.

Dr. Kucukkaya has been with Old Dominion University, specializing in data driven risk management with artificial intelligence and developed micro-modules for the “Multidisciplinary Risk Management in Cybersecurity”, NSA funded curriculum. He has also been the co-founder of a start-up specialized in providing systems solutions for recommendation engines and anomaly detection.

Dr. Kucukkaya has been part of the technical committee for the The Society for Modeling and Simulation

Conference, NATO Industry Partnership and United Nations CSW working group.
